Contax: These
professional cameras are very sturdy and
run dependably, for regular professional
use and sometimes abuse. Kyrocera
pulled the plug on the Contax line in September
of 2005. You can probably get a good deal
on Contax gear, but good luck finding parts,
or a certified Contax technician. Contax
is Kaput!

Leica: In
my opinion there is no finer 35 mm camera than
the systems made by Leica. You do pay a pretty
penny to own them. It is a better option than
Contax for the money, my second favorite (though
they are out of business). Nikon is a good substitute
for the money. That is if your sticking with
film at all... for 35mm. I'd buy a Nikon digital
system if your in the market for a 35mm SLR.
